SGM40560A設計專門用于小容量鋰離子/聚合物鋰離子二次電池的精密線性恒流、恒壓充電的單片電路。獨立完成完整的預充、快充、涓流浮充、回退供應保持、阻性壓降補償和再充電過程。最大充電電壓有以下五種可供選擇：

充電電流利用外加電阻設置。緩慢閃爍指示充電中和限時持續發光指示充電充滿都可利用微弱能源充電。除配合通常恒壓電源工作外，其特性和控制結構可配合電壓波動大的松耦合線圈和允許逆向電流的太陽能電池組工作。為可穿戴設備、微型便攜裝置提供靈活的供電選項。其回退供應保持設計和熱限流設計，可安全穩定地長期利用外部電源直接對負載供電。
SGM40560A-4.3A內部固定輸出電壓為4.3V，可防止外部干擾充電電壓。
SGM40560A采用TDFN-2×2-6AL和SOIC-8 (Exposed Pad)綠色封裝，工作溫度范圍為-40℃至+125℃。
